Hello baby. Yesterday your mother and I drove to Talladega, Al and met with some of your great-aunts and great-uncles. Most importantly, we met with your great-grandparents. Barbara and John Ferguson. John Ferguson or “papa” asked about you. He still doesn’t know about you in particular, but it was really nice that he was talking about you already. He’s really very nice and I hope that you get to meet him. Barbara or “ma” made a cool green summery dish with nuts and maraschino cherries. I’m certain she would love to pick you up! Ma and papa love pugs! (Not that you’re a pug, but you’ll be about that size!) I’m sure when you meet ma and papa you’ll meet their pugs. Your mother and I are already planning our next trip to Alabama when you come and it will be so fun to show you off! You’ll be super confused and won’t remember it, but your mother and I will be sure to get lots of photos for you. You will enjoy them later on I promise.
